Hand Spinning Cotton

This book is written for people who already know how to spin and who are interested in exploring one fiber more fully. We assume, therefor you know the terms we employ and how to use the equipment you already own.

This book is not about the history of cotton, although we offer a bibliography to het you started if you wish to pursue that phase of this interesting fiber. It is not about industrial processing.

It is about how to handspin cotton and use the result of your spinning. It tells you what we have learned up to this point. You can work with whichever hand is comfortable to you. Most spinners become ambidextrous because both hand are needed in many instances. Therefore, do not become concerns about which hand to use. If you have hands, use them.
