Learn about different types of wools and their uses for different styles of yarn, the process of washing raw wool and even how to add color.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStudents will then be introduced to different fiber preparations including how to prepare worsted and woolen yarns using wool combs, drum carders and hand carders.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter you have spun a sufficient amount of singles yarn, you learn how to ply them together to make suitable yarns for knitting or weaving. \u003cstrong\u003eStudents can use our studio wheels, but are encouraged to bring their own wheel if they already have one in working order.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe can also pair you with a wheel that best suits you that you may want to buy!
