About Class

Join Sara and let’s take a journey through the UK exploring sheep, their history, breed standards and the use of their wool. Students will be given a collection of rovings that showcase the full range of wool from the carpeting industry to fine luxury goods. Students will discuss varying fiber preparations and drafting styles as well as most useful weights and applications for breeds such as the Blue Faced Leicester, Devon, Herdwick, Jacob, Swaledale and more!

All materials are included with your tuition. Bring your wheel for a day of fun and learning, or request to borrow one of our studio wheels.
