About Class

Join Sara on a journey around the world exploring various mineral, protein and cellulous based fibers, their manufacturing process, fiber characteristics and their wide range of applications. Students will be given a collection of rovings that showcase the full range of applications from the home goods to fine luxury garments. Students will discuss varying fiber preparations and drafting styles as well as most useful weights and applications for fibers such as Banana, Himalayan Nettle, Ingeo Corn Fiber, Milk, Mint, Pearl, Pineapple, Rose fiber and more!

All materials are included with your tuition. Bring your wheel for a day of fun and learning, or request to borrow one of our studio wheels.
