Participant Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement

By registering for a workshop, checking the acknowledgment box at checkout, or entering the property of Red Stone Glen LLC, you agree to the following terms:

  • Assumption of Activity Risks: Textile arts involve hands-on work with specialized equipment and materials. You acknowledge that participating in workshops—including but not limited to weaving, spinning, knitting, and dyeing—involves inherent risks of injury, such as cuts or punctures from sharp tools, burns or skin irritation from hot water, mordants, or natural/chemical dyes, and physical strain from repetitive motions or operating equipment (such as floor looms and spinning wheels). You voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation.

  • Property & Premises Conditions: Instruction occurs across a residential and studio property, including indoor studio spaces, the primary residence, outbuildings, and outdoor grounds. You acknowledge that the property contains natural rural/residential hazards, including uneven terrain, gravel, steps, changing weather conditions, and active household/studio environments. You agree to exercise reasonable care for your own safety while navigating both indoor and outdoor areas.

  • Personal Responsibility & Conduct: You agree to follow all safety guidelines, tool instructions, and studio rules provided by the instructors. You are responsible for wearing appropriate clothing and footwear for working with dye baths, fiber tools, and outdoor movement.

  • Release of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby release, waive, and discharge Red Stone Glen LLC, its owners, instructors, and property owners from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising out of negligence, personal injury, illness, property damage, or loss sustained while participating in classes or while present on the property.
