All Louet bobbins all have whirls with three options for three ratio settings, allowing you to customize your yarn.
These bobbins fit Irish tension wheels that we currently make. Some also fit older Irish tension wheels:
The standard lacquered bobbin fits all Louët Irish tension wheels, including older wheels—S10, S51, S20, S60, S70, S71, S75, S76, S77.
The unlacquered standard bobbin is recommended for the unfinished S17, S15 and S75 wheels.
The Bulky bobbin will fit older wheels whose original flyer was a bulky flyer. The Bulky bobbin fits the current Bulky and Art yarn flyers.
The high speed bobbin and high speed bobbin with fat core fits all our Irish tension spinning wheels except the S70, S71, and S90. The fat core simulates a half-full bobbin, which makes spinning very fine fibers easier.
The standard bobbin and high speed bobbin fit Louët Scotch tension spinning wheels: S10C with Scotch tension, S11 Julia, S95 Victoria. The groove in core of the bobbin allows user to easily attach a leader. Use the standard bobbin with the standard flyer and the high speed bobbin with the high speed flyer.
